So many it is hard to choose which ones to tell you about. We can give you information on any and all of them of course, but to give you an idea of the range of historic and important gardens you can visit whilst staying at Cranham House (photograph of the living willow fence and one of the 4 arched entrances surrounding our own organic vegetable and fruit garden) and , we have selected:
Docton Mill & Hartland Abbey - spectacular gardens situated a stone’s throw away.
Clovelly Court - a classic example of a Victorian walled kitchen garden & glasshouses - where we buy organic vegetables and fruit for our meals to supplement our own grown here at Cranham House.
RHS Rosemoor - Broomhill Sculpture Garden - Marwood - Castle Hill - Winsford Walled Garden - Heddon Hall & The Garden House.
And, The Eden Project - Lost Gardens of Heligan - Trerice - Cotehele - Buckland Abbey - Prideaux Place and the fabulous, newly discovered Cothay Manor.
All are within an easy drive of our house.
